After years of research, and after a summer of growing and harvesting organic and wild-crafted herbs on the island of Martha's Vineyard specifically for inclusion in this unique formula, Holly has created a unique program for eczema and psoriasis. A two-part internal and external program, our Ex-ema program combines the best anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, alterative and soothing herbs to alleviate itch, speed the healing of skin tissues, alter the body's responses to allergens, fight fungal and bacterial infections, and teach about the importance of diet in removing eczema and psoriasis from the body.

The Ex-ema Program is two part, since eczema and psoriasis are both conditions that begin inside the body but express through the skin (and other organs).  Eczema is characterized by oozing, red pustules that itch and often crust over.  They are usually found in the warm moist place of the body: in the crease of the elbows and knees, or in the umbilicus. Eczema is generally thought to have two causes: the most common is an allergy to an external irritant, whether it is industrial solvents, dyes, soaps and shampoos, heat, and especially diet. Many people can clear their eczema by removing dairy, wheat or sugar from their diet. Psoriasis is characterized by gray, dry, non-itchy scales. They are usually found on dry bony parts of the body: the elbow, kneecap, ribs. No one knows the cause, but something triggers the skin cells to proliferate more quickly than they can be shed. Most remedies involve diet changes and moisturizing the area and gently scrubbing to remove scales.

**NOTE: We upgraded the label for the Eczema Program but haven't gotten the photos on the website yet. The new label (and title) are Alterative Internal Formula and Alterative External Lotion.
