Cordials & Elixirs: Making Them and Enjoying Them. A magical once-in-a-summer Saturday evening of blending, pounding and mixing -- and then sipping, tasting and indulging! Learn how to create delicious herbal and fruit cordials, how to blend for the best flavors, and of course -- sample nutritious, medicinal and simply delicious cordials! Leave the kids at home and make it a date night. All materials, alcohol, fruit, herbs and hors-d’oerves included.

Herbal I.D. Intensive for Labor Day. Join us for a four-hour women’s only intensive that includes a delicious vegetarian lunch. Get to know a half-dozen plants intimately, in-depth, and hands-on. Hear stories, myths, and experiment with the teas and tastes of our local flora.

On-Your-Own-Property Herb Walks  These 1 1/2 hour walks are very popular because I travel to a person's own home to show them what grows around them. I provide a detailed written botanical inventory (habitat list) for later reference, and allow the property owner(s) to include up to three people at an all-inclusive fee of $75; additional friends and family are welcome at $25 per person. Larger properties (greater than 2-3 acres) accrue an additional $75 per half hour.  FOR ON-YOUR-OWN PROPERTY HERB WALKS

Herb Walks take place around the Up-Island region of Martha's Vineyard (i.e., the west side) nearly every Saturday afternoon at 2pm. This is a beautiful countryside with meandering woodland trails, ocean views, ponds, barrier islands, deep forests, gardens, and ancient farmland. Please call or email to find out where that week's herb walk will take place. Bring good hiking shoes, sunscreen, a hat, light-colored pants or socks, and paper and pen if you would like to take notes. All herb walks are $25 and last about 1 1/2 hours.
